TULIME Project

The TULIME Project is a flagship initiative by ZAEL Group International in the DR Congo, dedicated to fostering sustainable agricultural, livestock, and aquaculture production. This comprehensive program aims to promote food security, support rural economies, and ensure environmentally responsible practices.

The project is structured around three core areas: Agricultural Production, Animal Production, and Fisheries & Aquaculture.

I. Agricultural Production

Our agricultural initiatives focus on enhancing food security and improving agricultural value chains. The key areas of development include:

II. Animal Production

The TULIME Project prioritizes modern, sustainable livestock practices to improve food supply and generate economic opportunities. The primary areas of focus include:

  • Breeding of improved dairy cattle for increased milk production.

✅ Goat Farming:

  • Development of exotic goat breeds to improve productivity.

✅ Beekeeping (Apiculture):

  • Sustainable honey production through advanced beekeeping techniques.

✅ Rabbit Farming (Cuniculture):

  • Promotion of rabbit breeding as a source of sustainable animal protein.

✅ Poultry Farming:

  • Broiler and layer poultry production.
  • Development of other poultry species for diverse local markets.

✅ Pig Farming:

  • Establishing modern pig farming to meet local demand and expand regional markets.

III. Fisheries & Aquaculture

The TULIME Project also emphasizes the sustainable management of aquatic resources to enhance food security and boost the local economy. Key components include:

✅ Pisciculture:

  • Development of sustainable fish hatcheries and breeding programs.
